Section 1. Transporting Guests from the Airport to the Palace


1.1 Greeting the guests in the arrival hall
* Good morning, (name). Welcome to Jaipur! You’re going to have a wonderful time here!




Leave the guests after greeting them and go and drive the car to the curb. When you reach the curb, get out of the car and stand by the back f the car with the boot open, ready to load the luggage.




1.2 Offer cold towels and a drink
* I’m sure you’d like to have a refreshing cold towel. What’s your favourite scent? … We have (lavender, lemongrass, and …) Which would you prefer? … That’s my favourite scent. … Here’s a cold towel with a (lemongrass) scent for you, (name) ….(Give each guest a cold towel according to their favourite scent.)

1.3 Telling them about the journey time
* It will take about (40) minutes to get to the palace.


1.4 Asking about the music
* Would you like to listen to some music?
Yes: * What is your favourite kind of music? … (Do you have a favourite singer?)

* We don’t have any (country music / music by …) but we do have a good choice of music. Here is a list of the CDs. We have (…)

1.7 Offering to play a DVD
* Would you like to watch a DVD?

We don’t have any (cartoons / films by …), but we do have these films… Here is a list of the films. We have (…)

1.8 Asking about the volume level

1.9 Comments during the journey

* We’re passing one of Jaipur’s many palaces on the left.

1.10 Arriving at the Palace

* I will open your doors. (Unload the luggage and confirm the number of items to the Porter.)

Section 2. Transporting Guests from the Palace to the Airport



2.1 Greeting the guests outside the limousine

* Good (morning), (name).





Stand by the car with the boot open, and be ready to load the luggage.


2.2 Greeting the guests inside the limousine
* I'm (name), your driver.
* Did you have a pleasant stay? ... I’m glad to hear that. / I’m sorry to hear that.
* Do you have everything?


2.3 Finding out the flight departure time
* Your flight leaves at … We’ll be there in plenty of time.

* When does the flight leave? … Thank you.



2.4 Offer cold towels and cold water
* Driver: Here’s a refreshing cold towel for you, (name of lady). Here’s a cold towel for you, (name of man).

If there are children present cold towels to them first, to the younger one or to the girl first.
